On Friday 25 October, we celebrate World Teachers’ Day and the incredible work our teachers do and the lasting impact they have on Australia’s students and communities.

Recognising our teaching profession is so important.

World Teachers’ Day is a great way for the nation to show its appreciation for our teachers’ expertise, dedication, creativity, and the support they provide to our young learners.

The theme is “Hats Off to Teachers”.

Take opportunity on Friday to speak to the teachers and school leaders you know, to students, parents, and the wider community, and encourage them to take part in this celebration.
