The Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE School Partnerships Program connects Australian and Indonesian schools in a structured school partnership to foster international connections and build intercultural understanding.
The program provides 12 hours of professional learning; delivered online across 8 sessions in which teachers will:
Connect and work collaboratively with a school and teacher in Indonesia
Explore Intercultural understanding and cultural competence, design thinking, digital pedagogies and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
Design a school partnership plan with your partner school that is aligned to your interests and school needs

The BRIDGE program is open to teachers of any subject and from any level, and has been designed to support the following aspects of the Australian Curriculum:

General Capability: Intercultural Understanding
AITSL Standards:
The BRIDGE Professional Learning Program has been designed to address the following AITSL Standards:

7.4 Engage with professional teaching networks and broader communities
Beyond the Professional Learning Program, the Australia-Indonesia BRIDGE school partnership program offers opportunities for cultural immersion and teacher exchange. You will be required, as part of the program, to host your partner teacher at your school for a week in term 4, 2023.
